The Borrindo is made of clay. It comes from Central Asia. It is very common in Sindh, a Pakistan province, and in some central Indian villages. The notes are produced by placing the lower lip on the edge of the largest hole or covering half of it and then blowing across it, while fingering the smaller holes to produce notes. Its spherical shape makes tuning variation easier by simply moving the embouchure angle. Its harmonics are very interesting!! Size: 4cm x 4cm / 1.6" x 1.6"
